About The Practioner
I have been a Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist since 2005, graduating from Medical Arts Massage school in Raleigh, NC after many years in the dental field. I was the founder of Tree of Life Healing Arts Studio, a thriving practice in Rock Hill, SC before my move to the beautiful lowcountry.
In 2016 I discovered Thai Massage, fell in love with it, and began a fast track to learn as much as possible about his modality. Beginning my studies with Jill Buryinski at Living Sabai School, I completed her program and received an Advanced Practitioner Certificate. My next studies were with Michael Sitzer at Thai Yoga Training School where I earned certification as a Thai Yoga Bodywork Practitioner. My pursuit of knowledge in Thai Massage then continued through extensive training with Bob Hadad, a well-known western teacher and acclaimed author on the subject of Thai Healing Arts.
In 2019 my education in Thai Massage was raised to a new level when I traveled to Chang Mai, Thailand and studied advanced courses at the International Thai Massage (ITM) school. While in Thailand on this trip, I also studied Thai herbal compress massage at the Omsala School.
I returned to Chang Mai, Thailand in 2019-2020 for advanced studies in Thai Massage and Tok-Sen at the Loi Kro Massage School. During my month there I also studied as a live-in student at the Baan Hom Samunphrai School with Dr. Homprang Chalekhana. She is a traditional Thai Doctor, Midwife, and Pharmacologist. In addition to the training during these trips, I have also gained a deep admiration for the culture, natural beauty and people of Thailand – the Land of a Thousand Smiles.
For me, education is a never-ending process. I am now beginning studies with Janice Gagnon of Spirit Winds School of Thai Massage, focusing on Jap Sen Thai Massage. “Jap Sen” means to grasp the Sen (Thai energy meridian). This modality employs a stronger pressure using knees, elbows, feet, and heels. Janice learned from Mama Lek Chaiya in Thailand and is devoted to carrying on the legacy of Jap Sen – a matriarchal lineage.
I am very passionate about Traditional Thai Massage and staying true to the methods taught by the Thai people. I am excited to bring this passion to clients in my new office in the Beaufort area. During my spare time, I enjoy experiencing the beauty of the lowcountry along with my husband and two Cardigan Corgis.

People will forget what you said,
People will forget what you did,
but people will never forget how you made them feel.
