Customer getting Tok Sen Facial Massage

  • Tok Sen is an ancient Thai Healing Art translated as “tapping lines”. The therapist uses a set of wooden tools including a hammer or “kon” and chisel or “lim” to tap lightly along the meridians. The Thai meridians are called “sen”, which are lines that carry the life energy and are similar to the acupuncture lines of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Tok Sen opens up the “lom” or “wind” that may be blocked and causing pain and imbalances in the body. Opening these lines and moving the wind promotes healing and balance. This method is used to treat sore muscles, joint pain, and imbalances associated with specific meridians. The light tapping creates a vibration that softens tissue, promotes circulation, and provides lymphatic drainage.

Testimonials

  • Fantastic massage services! Anna is a superiorly trained therapist, is extremely professional, courteous, and has an exceptional sense of touch. As a massage therapist myself, and as an aging athlete, I am especially particular in my choice of treatment and therapist. I was very comfortable in the summer of 2019 with several long sessions in Anna's care. I do not hesitate to give her my highest recommendation for essential massage therapy services for her knowledge, technique, and empathic caring. My trust in her, and faith in her abilities, is total. Additionally, the Tree of Life studio is so very peaceful and calming, adding to the extraordinary experience.

  • I have experienced Anna's amazing healing massages before she decided to enlarge her repertoire with Thai massage. Through much training and continuing education, Anna became a licensed Thai massage therapist, and, I have reaped the benefits. Through stretching and pressure point work for energy, I am able to keep doing many things in life that I enjoy. Anna, with her healing arts, has kept me going. She does the hard work, and I feel the healing. I leave her feeling relaxed, limber, and 100 percent better than I went. I encourage you to give Thai massage a try. You may end up loving it like I do. And, if you don't, you still will benefit from the process.

  • Try the Thai massage, so neat!!! After many years of healing via regular massage, I tried Thai massage for the added benefits of healing through deep stretching poses. Thai is loosening my joints and I plan to use it to help increase overall flexibility. Try the Thai massage with Anna and see if you like it too.
